2014 AIPP Australian Advertising Photographer of the Year

Hello there, I'm Matt!

I considered throwing a 'talking in third-person about myself' pitch together, but that's not really my style. I'd rather get straight to the point, keep it real and focus on the task at hand.

For as long as I can remember petrol has flowed through my veins. I'd love to write a cliche story of how I was gifted my first camera at 4 months of age and shooting before I could walk. The truth is that I picked up a camera quite late in life, but once I had there was no going back; I was complete.

Finally, my overactive imagination had a way to break free and be shared with the World. The art of photography enabled me to share a perspective, freeze important moments, and to create entire stories that exist entirely within a few blobs of ink, or the pixels of a screen.

Growing up surrounded by some genuinely interesting characters and some very cool machinery meant I didn't have to look far for inspiration or unique stories to capture. Photography felt like a natural extension of my automotive passions from Day One and it's a journey I'm still enjoying.

Combining my love of crafting images with the automotive world truly sets me free.

Let's Get Started!

After taking something of a semi-hiatus from actively pursuing additional work to spend more time with my very young family I've grown hungry for adventure, and the desire to create some cutting-edge imagery has never been stronger. I'm now in a position to add to my existing clients and to seek out new subjects, new exciting stories to tell, and new ideas to share.

If you've got an exciting project that may benefit from some additional creativity, we should talk.
